Mörksuggejakten TrailRun 2026

Lilla Mörksuggejakten is the children’s and youth MTB XCO race during the Mörksuggejakten cycling weekend in Rättvik. It starts the cycling events before the main Mörksuggejakten race, offering younger riders their own competition on the Jarlområdet as families, spectators, club riders, and friends gather. The youth course is designed for mountain bikes. The youngest participants have a straightforward route with space for varied paces. The broader Mörksuggejakten weekend centers on the 72 km main race, with a 44 km alternative, crossing gravel roads, winding paths, and steep ascents near Vidablick, Hedsåsens fäbodar, Enåns valley, Dalhalla, and Springkällan. The main course, held numerous times, attracts both elite and amateur cyclists, providing the youth race with a genuine race-day atmosphere instead of a minor side event.
