Xterra Suzhou 2026

XTERRA Suzhou takes participants to Xishan Island in Jiangsu's Taihu area, west of Shanghai. This trail-running event, held in early December, offers distances from short family and youth races to longer mountain courses: 5K, 7K, 10K, 12K, 30K, and 50K. The 50K presents a significant challenge with approximately 2,250 meters of elevation gain. The 12K course holds ITRA certification at Mountain Level 5 and Finisher Level 240. The course crosses the island's hills and forests, featuring bamboo groves and autumn slopes still adorned with yellow ginkgo leaves in early December. The participant list reflects a diverse field, including runners from New Zealand, Germany, the United States, the Netherlands, France, Australia, Switzerland, and China. As a component of the XTERRA National League, the event is integrated into the broader off-road racing circuit.
