Półmaraton Koroną Wzgórz Wielkopolski is a 21.0975 km half marathon held in Ostrzeszów, located in the hilly southern region of Wielkopolska. The race begins and concludes at the stadium on Kąpielowa Street. It is designed for runners seeking a cross-country challenge rather than a quick road race. The event aims to counter the perception of Wielkopolska as flat by incorporating the area's moraine hills, forest paths, sandy singletrack, dirt roads, and some asphalt, making the distance more demanding than a typical city race. The course crosses the Bełczyna and Kobyla Góra hills and passes the headwaters of the Złotnica and Niesób rivers. Participants can anticipate soft terrain in the wooded areas, natural obstacles, and technical ascents and descents requiring careful navigation.
