Potrójna Korona Orlicka is a long-distance mountain march based at Dworek Chopina in Duszniki-Zdrój, with the finish, race office, and participant base all located at the same venue. It crosses the Bystrzyckie, Orlickie, and Stołowe Mountains, utilizing marked tourist trails instead of a closed road course. Two linear routes are offered: an 80 km option featuring 2000 m of elevation gain and a 24-hour time limit, and a 45 km option with 1300 m of climbing and a 14-hour limit. The longer route commences on Friday evening from the base of Jagodna, while the shorter route begins on Saturday morning in Duszniki. The primary objectives on the course are Jagodna, Orlica, and Szczeliniec Wielki, with the event structured around summiting these three named peaks rather than achieving a rapid loop time. Organizers emphasize hiking over racing, despite the strict time limits. The 80 km route includes five aid stations, and the 45 km route has three. Both routes contribute to Potrójna Korona badge achievements: the large golden badge for completing the 80 km route and the small golden badge for the 45 km route. Participants receive laminated maps, a personalized race number, a checkpoint booklet for verification, bus transportation to the start, GOPR mountain rescue services, a meal at the finish, and assistance returning to base if withdrawal is necessary.
