Gizzy Trail Run Series: Longbush Reserve 2026

The Gizzy Trail Run Series takes place at Longbush Eco Sanctuary in Gisborne, New Zealand, starting from The Pines near Wainui Beach. The Gisborne Harrier Club hosts this event as a relaxed family morning, beginning at 10:00 am with registration opening at 9:15 am. Participants can select from three approximate distance options: a short course of 2-4 km, a medium course of 4-6 km, or a long course of 6-9 km. This event is suitable for children, novice trail runners, club members, and those seeking a low-key run on local trails. The entry fee is $20 for casual runners, $10 for under-19s, free for children under 7, and free for Harriers members. A coffee cart will be available.
