Hondsrug Classic 2026

Join the adventurous and challenging Hondsrug Classic on Sunday, October 6th. This mountain bike race, a well-known event in the Netherlands for 26 years, promises an unforgettable experience. The course consists of two laps, each with three loops. All loops pass near the start and finish area, allowing participants to be seen by supporters. The route combines the best of the MTB Route Gieten/Gasselte with wider forest paths for overtaking. It includes riding along the beach, winding through forest paths, challenging singletracks, and steep climbs, offering a mix of speed, technique, and endurance. With a total distance of approximately 60 kilometers, the Hondsrug Classic is suitable for both competitive racers and recreational cyclists.
