Triathlon des Lions 2026

Triathlon des Lions is an L-distance team time-trial triathlon in Vernon, Eure, Normandy, scheduled for mid-September. Teams compete in the full swim-bike-run format: 1.8 km swimming, 86 km road cycling, and 18 km road running. The swim takes place in lakes and ponds. The remainder of the course combines natural areas with sections through town and on roads. The team time-trial format shifts the focus from individual effort to shared pacing, requiring athletes to maintain organization throughout all three disciplines. The event is being relaunched as Le Triathlon du Lion, following earlier descriptions as a returning local race with a significant history.
