About this race
The Trail des Brosses begins and ends at the Equ'crin d'Olima equestrian center in Chantraine, France. From the venue, runners immediately access forest trails, bypassing any paved roads. This 50 km race is the longest event during a trail weekend that also offers 7 km, 13 km, 22 km, and 35 km distances, alongside L'Obscure and children's races.
The courses feature narrow single-track paths, rocky segments, and areas of scree, with autumn woods defining much of the terrain. Approximately 100 volunteers assist with the event. The site provides bib pickup, gear check, changing rooms, aid stations, first aid, parking, and awards. Parking is carefully controlled, with official maps distributed and the adjacent Auchan store car park restricted.
