About this race

La Drômoise 138 km is the longest Sunday road option at La Drômoise, a three-day cyclosportive based around Die in the Drôme department of southeastern France. It runs on the third weekend of September, with the 138 km route offered as both a timed cyclosportive and a non-timed randonnée. The event is organized by the Club Cycliste de Die, has run since 2007, and draws more than 3,500 riders across the weekend. The 138 km course is part of the Cyclodromoise Classique program in the Diois area, with a medium-mountain profile and about 2,250 m of climbing. The wider weekend spreads riding across three different parts of Drôme: Baronnies provençales on Friday, Vercors on Saturday, and Diois on Sunday. Riders can also choose shorter road routes, gravel events, or mountain-bike courses, so the field includes competitive cyclosport riders, touring cyclists, gravel riders, and locals out for a shorter day. La Drômoise sits among France’s ten largest cyclosportives and carries FFC affiliation plus national and international labels.
