Foulée des 1000 pattes 2026

Foulée des 1000 pattes is a small nature-trail event based in Vic-en-Bigorre, in the Hautes-Pyrénées of Occitanie in southwest France. It is scheduled for late September and offers two trail races plus a walking option: 19 km, 11 km, and 8 km. The longer race is called La Foulée, while the shorter trail is La Petite Foulée. All three routes are single loops, so runners and walkers do not repeat the same circuit. La Foulée covers 19 km with 600 m of climbing, enough to make it a proper hilly trail rather than a flat local run. La Petite Foulée gives a shorter version at 11 km with 250 m of elevation gain, and the 8 km walk keeps the event open to people who want the Pyrenean setting without racing.
