Ruta Senderista Valle del Esperabán 2026

The XI Valle del Esperabán Hiking Route is a trail running and hiking event held in Castillo, in the Las Hurdes region of Cáceres province, Extremadura. The main distance is 20 kilometers with a positive elevation gain of 650 meters, offering a demanding course through the characteristic natural landscapes of the area. The event also includes a 12 km route with 400 m of positive elevation gain and a 3 km family route, all starting and finishing in Castillo. The event is designed to enjoy the mountainous environment and the orography of Las Hurdes, presenting a technical and physical challenge for participants.
