MEDIA MARATÓN TALAVERA 2026 - UDAT - Unión Deportiva Atlética Talavera

The Talavera Half Marathon begins on Calle Alcalde Pablo Tello, directly before Talavera Ferial in Talavera de la Reina, Toledo. This Sunday-morning road race covers 21.097 kilometers and is organized by Unión Deportiva Atlética Talavera. It is also known as the Media Maratón “Ciudad de Talavera” – Gran Premio CaixaBank. The course is RFEA-homologated and appears on both the Spanish federation’s national and regional calendars, indicating it is a measured, federation-standard event. The course is designed for speed, with organizers promoting it as a venue for runners seeking personal bests. Participants start in assigned boxes, receive official timing, and finish into a staffed race area with a commentator. This event has a long history, marking its thirty-eighth edition under the Ciudad de Talavera name, and includes the Aníbal Arévalo memorial. Practical arrangements include liquid and solid aid stations, bathrooms, bag drop, showers, a runner’s bag, medals, trophies, and cash prizes.
