Lauf zur Grubenlampe 2026

Lauf zur Grubenlampe is a small September running event in Ronneburg, held at the Neue Landschaft Ronneburg on the former BUGA grounds. Runners choose either 7.3 km for one lap or 14.6 km for two laps, with the shorter race open from age 14 and the longer one from age 16. The field is capped at 300 people, making it more local and contained than a big-city road race. The course includes some unpaved ground, fitting the parkland setting around the old exhibition site. The city of Ronneburg organizes the race, and both distances have the same entry fee. There are no award ceremonies; everyone who finishes receives a medal, and participants can download certificates online afterward.
