About this race
The Herforder Highway Ultra is a 66 km race in Herford, limited to 50 participants. It runs on a GPS-measured 6.0 km loop, meaning the full distance is completed by running repeated laps instead of a single point-to-point course.
Each lap includes 62 meters of elevation gain and consists of asphalt, gravel, and field paths. The race originated from the organizer's desire to run over 60 km for the first time. The name "Highway" derives from the street address Hochstraße, connecting the event's theme to its location.
