About this race
Valentýnský běh is a Czech Valentine’s running series held around Valentine’s Day, with stops in Hradec Králové, Pardubice, Pilsen, and Prague. Hradec Králové is the established base after five editions, while Pardubice joins the series at Pardubice Castle. The formats are deliberately mixed: timed road or park races sit alongside an unmeasured experience run, and the distances range from a short 3 km loop in Pilsen to 5 km, 7 km, 10 km, and 11 km options.
Hradec Králové offers 5 km, 11 km, and 5 km Canicross from Kemp Stříbrný rybník, so runners can bring a dog into the race rather than leaving Valentine’s Day entirely to couples. In Pilsen, people run or walk a roughly 3 km loop in Borský Park up to three times, with optional themed zones such as a kiss point and a Cupid-style task. The Prague Airport Valentine’s Run is a 7 km charity race in Stromovka with full results service and race-number pickup at Running Mall. Finishers in Pilsen get a limited medal: early online registrants receive a metal version with a moving pendant, while later registrants receive a wooden version.
