Strathclyde Park 5k/10k/Half Marathon

The Strathclyde Park 5k/10k/Half Marathon takes place in November at Strathclyde Park, Motherwell, near Hamilton Road. Participants can select a 5K, 10K, or 21.1K half marathon, accommodating beginners, regular 10K runners, and those aiming for a longer distance. The course is fast and flat, featuring chip timing, marked routes, and on-course support. The route follows the park’s loch, keeping runners near the water for most of the race instead of going through city streets. The 5K serves as an accessible start, the 10K offers a standard middle distance, and the half marathon challenges experienced runners. This is the inaugural Strathclyde Park event in the series, sponsored by Batchelors Estates. All finishers will receive a medal, bib, timing chip, on-course hydration, and post-race refreshments.
