HART Barefoot 5k 2026

The Barefoot for Africa 5k/Walk will be held at the Orem Fitness Center on September 22, 2018. Participants are encouraged to donate a pair of shoes after the race. You may run with shoes on if you prefer. This is a road race. Pre-race package pickup is on race day starting at 7:00 AM. The location is the Orem Fitness Center. The race starts at 9:00 AM. A Kids 1 Mile Run begins at 9:45 AM, followed by an Awards Ceremony and an African Dancer Performance at 10:00 AM. When you sign up, you are also paying the entry fee for a fellow racer in Ghana, West Africa, who will be running in the Kukuom 5k in November 2018. The entry fee is $25.00. You will be able to see photos of the individual African runners, live news coverage, and potentially your donated shoes being used on Ghanaian roads. You will receive a t-shirt from HART to celebrate your support. All proceeds will go towards the HART Medical Mission in November and the Kukuom HART 5K race. This is a unique race that supports a humanitarian cause.
