La Dromoise - 115 km 2026

La Drômoise is a three-day cycling event held in the Drôme region, taking place on the third weekend of September. It has been organized since 2007 by the Club Cycliste de Die. The 115 km route is part of the Sunday Cyclodromoise Classique, a medium-mountain road ride featuring approximately 1,800 m of elevation gain. This route is available as both a timed cyclosportive and a non-timed randonnée. The event spans three distinct areas within the department. Friday's rides are set in the Baronnies provençales, Saturday's in the Vercors, and Sunday's in the Diois. Over 3,500 participants attend throughout the weekend, with road, gravel, and mountain-bike formats offered. Sunday's timed road options include 78 km, 115 km, and 138 km routes, while the randonnée offers shorter 23 km and 47 km options. The Drôme is known as the French department of “100 cols,” indicating the nature of the 115 km ride: it involves frequent ascents and descents, though not at high-Alpine altitudes.
