La French Run 2026

La French Run begins at Stanley Park in Calgary, Alberta, offering 1 km, 5 km, and 10 km routes along the river paths. The Kids' Race, for children aged 4 to 10, starts at 9:00 AM and covers 1 km. The 5 km run or walk and the 10 km run both commence at 9:30 AM. Youth can participate in the 5 km from ages 10 to 17 and in the 10 km from ages 14 to 17. The 5 km follows a straightforward out-and-back path by the river. The 10 km extends further west into River Park. This is the race's fifth year, and it supports Alliance Francaise of Calgary. A French theme is present, with pastries provided post-race. Race packages are available for collection at Alliance Francaise or Strides Running Store. The rules specify the course is for foot traffic only, prohibiting strollers and dogs during the run.
