2026 Blue Line Runnership Application

The Blue Line Runnership Application is part of the Akron Marathon Race Series in Akron, Ohio. Over 14,000 runners and 2,000 volunteers participate in the marathon and associated events. It functions within the Akron Marathon Charitable Corporation’s charity structure, linking race participation to local nonprofit fundraising. Local 501(c)(3) nonprofits can apply via the Blue Line Charity Partner Program to recruit runners and raise funds through the race series. Over $6 million has been generated from event proceeds, runner contributions, and the Blue Line Charity Partner Program. The top three charities raising over $5,000 receive an additional donation from the Akron Marathon, with the amount determined by annual proceeds.
