The Nottingham MoRun begins at Memorial Gardens Riverside on Victoria Embankment, offering participants four race options: a 1.5k Mini MoRun, 5k, 10k, or half marathon. This event takes place in Nottingham during November as part of the larger MoRunning series. Chip timing is provided for all distances, including the children's race. The event is structured to accommodate various skill levels: children can compete in the short race, less experienced runners can opt for the 5k, and those seeking a greater challenge can choose the 10k or half marathon.
The event supports Movember, the men's health charity focused on raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Participants can register individually, with family or friends, or as a team. Dressing up is encouraged as part of the event's spirit. All finishers receive a medal and a headband, with refreshments available post-race. Runners also have the option to make an additional donation or create a fundraising page, allowing the day to serve as both a running competition and a Movember fundraiser.
