The North Coast 110 series provides self-guided trail events along the North Devon coast and Exmoor, with distances from 38 km to 110 miles. Participants navigate the South West Coast Path, with GPS tracking provided for all primary routes. The 110-mile ultra begins at Hartland Quay and has an entry requirement of a prior 50km finish.
This main race spans 110 miles, featuring close to 6,000m of elevation gain and approximately 12 hours of night running. The course goes by Hartland Point, Clovelly, and Westward Ho!, then levels out near the Torridge and Taw estuaries. It merges with the 110 km ultra in Barnstaple. The 65 km Hartland Coast Ultra uses the first part of the route but concludes with 16 km of road and a climb over the Taw.
