Běhám a pomáhám is a charity running day held on Masaryk Square in Vyškov, with the main race starting and finishing on the square. The main run commences at noon and covers just under 5.5 kilometers. Earlier in the morning, children's races are held in separate age categories, with distances of 25, 50, 200, 400, or 800 meters. On-site registration for children is free in the morning.
The event supports seriously ill children; proceeds from adult entry fees benefit Adélka and Meliska. Adults pay a reduced fee for online registration and a higher fee on the day of the event. Lear Corporation contributes 58,000 crowns to the total funds raised. The program, which includes a bouncy castle, Ford Mustang display, glitter tattoos, balloon twisting, drawing in a kids’ corner, games, and competitions, indicates families are a key audience.
