O tomto závodu
Witches, pumpkins, and zombies line up at the foot of Mont Saint-Hilaire for this road-running event in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec. The main race is 15 km, with 10 km, 5 km, and 1 km options on the same race day, catering to serious runners, families, and younger participants. It is a late-season event, with the site opening early in the morning and races built around a Halloween theme from start to finish.
The event starts from École secondaire Ozias-Leduc on Rue Jolliet and sends runners through the streets below the mountain. The 15 km has corrals, a group warm-up before the start, a 2-hour 30-minute limit, and a recommended minimum age of 16. The race dates back to 2014, and its personality comes from the costumes as much as the distances: runners often show up dressed as witches, pumpkins, and zombies, making it more playful than a standard road race.
