Stratenloop Lede 2026

Stratenloop Lede is an evening road-running event held in the village of Lede in East Flanders. The start and finish are located at Intermezzo on Kasteeldreef. The event caters to a wide range of participants: toddlers can join a short Snoepjesrun, older children have age-group Kidsruns, and adults can select paved races of 4.6 km, 6.9 km, or 11.5 km. Options are also available for walkers and G-sport participants, ensuring the program accommodates those not focused on speed. The course winds through streets in and around Lede's center, passing Park van Mesen. Each loop is approximately four kilometers, accounting for the progression from shorter adult distances to the longest race. The event attracts local families, recreational runners, club runners, and competitive athletes. Over 40 volunteers assist in managing the evening. Stratenloop Lede supports the Diabetes Liga, provides a goodie bag for each participant, and maintains a village-race atmosphere with podium awards and a tombola for attendees.
